This training offers an overview of the "safety need" (Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs - remember?) and provides very practical steps resource parents can take to foster rhythm, routine, consistency & predictability in their own homes. |

***This class is now offered in 2 parts, part I will be offered 10/24/09*** Facilitated by Sally Jones, ACSW, LCSW & Jim Finnegan, MSW. 3 credit hours; Registration Deadline 11/6/09 HRT co-founders, Sally Jones & Jim Finnegan, facilitate this highly sought-after, specialized training. Participants will gain fresh insight into handling behaviors such as: alcohol and drug use; physical hostility; passive/agressiveness; run-away attempts; and sexualized behaviors. Highly interactive - participants will be up and moving as they role play potential solutions to address these behaviors. This training is beneficial for both new & seasoned resource parents. |
